One is a cotton wool sock and the other is a cotton blend sock. While these socks are similar, the cotton blend sock has a few extra benefits that make it a better choice. First, the cotton blend sock has a lower water content than the cotton wool sock.
The cotton blend sock also has a higher thread count than the cotton wool sock. The higher thread count allows for higher stitches when stitching it. These stitches make for a better stitch pattern since the thread will be at a much higher tension. So instead of having to use a lot of yarn that can get pretty sticky, you can use up all of the yarn you have and just stitch. If you prefer to have your stitches be finer, you can use a cotton blend sock with a larger thread count.
I don’t know what to call it, but I swear it looks like cotton wool.

Christmas socks are socks you’ve taken off while wearing a Santa suit. The socks are hidden under your suit, and when you wear it again, they’re back in your sock drawer. They’re just socks, after all, so they don’t count as a sock. But since they’re socks, they’re socks and you might as well keep them.
