I was very surprised when one of our employees at the office suggested that we make a matching black backpack and lunchbox. I had never seen a matching pair of backpacks and lunchboxes before, but that’s how I wanted my kitchen to look all of summer.
The idea was to make each backpack and lunchbox more unique to the other. You can use these to store anything from candy to water bottles. A lunchbox or backpack would look great on a table or bookcase, and a backpack or lunchbox would look great in the kitchen.
You can see that the two designs are pretty much the same, so I was thinking that a matching set of lunchboxes and backpacks could work as a nice “kitchen” decor. That way, everything would be pretty uniform, like an “office” decor, without having to add a kitchen.
I guess I could make a matching set of lunchboxes and backpacks, but that would just be a waste of money. It’s hard to find matching lunchboxes and backpacks that match up, it’s the same exact material, and we already have a lot of those.
I think it’s also important to consider that a lunchbox and backpack design could help the overall impression that the design of the backpack and lunchbox is making. So if you don’t like the way the design is making you feel, then you could make a different design. Then the concept of this design would become more important, making it even more likely to be noticed. Which is exactly why I think it is important to consider the overall design of the product.
You can make a backpack or lunchbox that will fit in the palm of your hand, and look a little more casual. And that’s exactly what the folks at The Little Things did. The design of the lunchbox and lunch bag is so casual, it looks a lot like a regular backpack.
I agree with this. This is all about the overall design. The design shouldn’t just be the color of the lunchbox. The design of the lunch box should be to show that it is a lunchbox, not just a bag.
