I’ve been dying to get this merced glider for a while. It’s pretty cool.
This is an awesome looking and useful (and expensive) model glider that can be used for almost any sport, and it’s a good thing that it’s so light. The merced glider is the best way I’ve found to get a more realistic feel for the air you’ll take up your glider. The idea is that your glider will float up with the wind on what is essentially a balloon, and you’ll be able to fly using this device.

A glider that can be flown without the wind coming from the front is pretty freaking cool for all kinds of glider sports. As you can see in the video, it is quite hard to fly the merced glider in the wind that is coming from the front. It is also possible to hover, but if you do that, you’ll probably get blown over, because hovering is almost like a cat-crushing maneuver.

The more you think about it, the worse it gets. When you have a glider that you can actually hover, you get a bit of a headache.
It is not an easy task to balance a glider while keeping it from falling over. Even flying is a bit tricky because there are only so many gliding gears you can fit in the glider’s frame, and they don’t all work the same. When you fly above a sea of water the glider will fly in circles around you and the wind will blow it away at the top (just like on the beach). This is the key to getting the plane to land safely. The glider is normally designed to be very loud, so the glider won’t move very loud on the ground.
